Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame Inc. announces "Remembering The Ice Bowl" 50th Anniversary

WHERE: Three Clans Complex at the Radisson
 

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the event will run from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Three Clans Complex at the Radisson. In addition to the world premiere documentary and players’ forum, there will be a silent auction. The Packers Hall of Fame Inc. will again donate a portion of the event’s proceeds to the NFL Player Care Foundation specifically designated for former Packers in need.

Please join us for the premiere of Michael Meredith’s documentary, The Ice Bowl.The Dallas Cowboys, with Michael’s father, Don Meredith, as quarterback, faced the Green Bay Packers in one of the most remembered games in football history. The documentary celebrates the 50th anniversary and examines the historic game played between the Packers and Cowboys for the 1967 NFL Championship. The one-hour show features Meredith’s journey over four years and nine states to interview surviving members of the Ice Bowl, and to understand more about the game’s legacy and significance 50 years after it took place.

All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Franklin County Historical Association and the Mount Vernon Rotary Club. Michael will be here to introduce the film along with former Dallas Cowboys and Ice Bowl Alumni.
